PLAYTEST FAQ

How does playtesting work?Playtesters get early access to some of our biggest games. Every week or every other week we’ll post information about how to play. Most tests run for a bit over a week. Players can leave their feedback on an online form, earning rewards for doing so!
What requirements do I need to be to playtester?
  • Be 16 of age or older.
  • Enough fluency in English to leave feedback and read instructions.
  • Own, or have access to, a PC that can play relatively recent games.
What platforms will you use for tests, can I use my Xbox?The vast majority of our tests use Steam on PC. Very rarely will we have other platforms available to play on.
Do I need to be a frequent game player to join?Nope! We’re looking for a wide swath of players to join us on tests.
How do I get rewards?Easy! By completing forms you’ll earn credits and gift cards that are applied to your Maximum Games Store account. From there you can redeem them for a wide variety of games. Create an account here!
Do I need to sign anything?Yes, we have a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) form that you will need to agree to. After completing the form you should receive a confirmation email. The purpose of the NDA is to make sure you agree not to divulge information about our games before we’re ready to do so.
Do I need to come in person?Our tests have always been digital, no need to come to an office. We primarily use Discord and Email to send out information. https://discord.gg/AAaHrdfdmu
What information do you hold, will you sell it?We do not divulge any information about our playtesters to anyone outside of the company. The exception to this are individual game developer partners, who may get limited info if you test their game. The info we hold is as follows:

  • Name
  • Location
  • Discord Tag
  • Date of Birth
